The building at San José 1111, where Cristina Kirchner is serving house arrest for her corruption conviction in the Vialidad case, has gained a new direct connection to La Cámpora following the revelation that national senator and founder of the group, Mariano Recalde, is also the owner of one of the apartments in the property.

According to information from the Property Registry, Recalde owns apartment 1° A, which also has an exclusive patio. The property was acquired by his family in 2016 and, although the Kirchnerist leader does not reside there, it is currently said to be occupied by a tenant.

On the same first floor is apartment 1° B, purchased by María Soledad Calle, a leader linked to La Cámpora and the metalworkers' union, whose financial situation is being investigated by the Justice in a case related to alleged irregularities in the management of funds from the Metalworkers' Union (UOM).

Calle initially denied having purchased that property. However, she later submitted a document to federal judge Julián Ercolini in which she acknowledged the transaction and claimed that the acquisition, for approximately USD 189,000, had been made with her own resources and with the aim of allocating the property to a foundation for studies on Argentine development.

In this way, two units on the first floor of the building where the former president is detained are linked to figures close to La Cámpora: one belonging to Recalde and another acquired by Calle.

Additionally, the apartment 2° D, where Cristina Kirchner is currently serving her house arrest, belongs to Los Sauces S.A., a company of the Kirchner family historically linked to their real estate businesses and which has been under judicial investigation in various cases.

This situation again places under scrutiny the particular concentration of leaders and companies related to Kirchnerism within the same building. The ownership configuration raises questions about the political and residential environment built around the former president since she began serving her sentence: a kind of "political bunker"

The property has also become one of the main gathering points for Kirchnerist activism in recent months, with regular presence of supporters, leaders, and security devices in the surroundings.

As the Justice continues to analyze the conditions under which Cristina Kirchner is serving her house arrest, Recalde's emergence as the owner of another unit reinforces the hypotheses of the political use of the house arrest: the building at San José 1111 is dominated by Cámpora.
