After going through especially difficult weeks, Zulma Lobato received painful news regarding her health. The media personality, who had recently been found homeless in Paraná, Entre Ríos, went to an ophthalmological consultation hoping to find treatment for the serious vision problems she suffers from.
The visit to the specialist was one of her main priorities after receiving financial help from those who rallied for her situation. Days earlier, Zulma had shared that she was "almost blind" and intended to allocate part of the money raised through a collection to a possible surgery.
However, the results of the evaluation changed her expectations. According to Jair Hourcade, known as La Pepona, who is currently supporting Lobato in Tandil, the professionals determined that the visual deterioration would be very delicate and that, for the moment, there would be no alternative to recover the lost vision.

“After the consultation with the ophthalmologist, we were told honestly that the state of her vision is very delicate,” La Pepona communicated through her Instagram profile.
What diagnosis did Zulma Lobato receive about her vision
Zulma's expectation was focused on the possibility of undergoing an intervention that could improve her visual capacity. However, according to the account shared by her companion, the specialist had ruled out that possibility based on her current condition.
“According to the evaluation conducted, there is currently no solution that allows her to recover the vision she lost,” Hourcade explained when communicating the results of the consultation.
La Pepona also emphasized that the doctor decided to clearly convey the situation, despite the emotional impact the news could provoke.
