Thanks to the funds that the Nation began to transfer for the debt with the Pension Fund, an 84.2% increase will be applied to the minimum pension. The measure also includes a bimonthly bonus of $100,000 for those who receive up to $1.3 million gross. The supplement will have a positive impact on provincial retirees and will be maintained as long as the national government continues to provide these resources.

The minimum pension will remain at $210,000, but the supplement will increase from $170,000 to $530,000, bringing the total minimum to $700,000 starting in July. More than 57,000 retirees and pensioners will receive this benefit along with the new bonus. The Nation's commitment settles part of the historical debt that previous governments had with Córdoba and enables this concrete improvement.

The bonus will be non-contributory and will be paid every two months: July, September, November, January, and March, as long as the transfers from the Nation continue. More than 56,000 beneficiaries will receive the bonus along with their monthly payments, with the payment date to be announced this week. Llaryora announced the measures, which were able to be implemented thanks to the commitment and economic support of the national government.

The National Government's commitment enables a concrete and unconditional improvement

70% of the funds sent by Anses will cover the bonus and the rest will go to the Pension Fund deficit, in accordance with what the provincial pension law stipulates. Article 58 is not modified, so those who exceed $1.26 million will continue to be subject to the solidarity contribution. The Nation is fulfilling its obligations and prevents Córdoba from having to use general revenues to cover pensions.

The new scheme will benefit more than 18,000 people who previously received less than $750,000 and were excluded from the pension supplement. These are sectors with low incomes prior to retirement, such as municipal and local employees from the interior. The improvement goes directly to their pockets thanks to the transfer of national funds.

The latest statistical report from the Pension Fund showed that more than 2,600 retirees received less than $380,000 and another 2,000 were between $210,000 and $370,000. Today, this group will benefit from an unprecedented improvement, made possible by the payments of the national debt. Milei's administration thus fulfills one of its main premises: debts are paid.
