The Telegraph proposes Milei's model to rescue the United Kingdom from the crisis

An article from the British media outlet argues that the United Kingdom is on the verge of an economic collapse

The influential British newspaper The Telegraph recently published an article stating that the policies implemented by Argentine president Javier Milei could be the solution to confront and solve the United Kingdom's growing economic crisis.

The article, written by financial advisor Dru Danford, argues that the United Kingdom is on the verge of a structural economic collapse, with uncontrolled debt, a rising deficit, and unsustainable public spending.

In this scenario, Danford proposes an "Argentine-style shock therapy" that combines drastic cuts to the size of the state, mass layoffs of public employees, elimination of subsidies, and rapid economic deregulation to stimulate growth.

According to the author, this would mean cutting "the unnecessary public sector", lowering taxes, and liberalizing trade as a strategy to restore investor confidence and reestablish national prosperity.

The publication was shared by President Milei on his X account, where he celebrated the international recognition of his economic model. The mere publication of the article by The Telegraph demonstrates the success of Milei's economic plan and its impact on developed countries such as the United Kingdom.

Meanwhile, British conservative leaders such as Kemi Badenoch have openly expressed their admiration for Milei's approach. In a recent interview with the Financial Times, Badenoch stated that she wants to be "the British Javier Milei," proposing an agenda based on cuts to public spending and deregulation.

In its analysis, The Telegraph highlights that the austerity policies implemented by Milei in Argentina have had visible results: a sharp drop in inflation (from nearly 300% year-on-year to 39%), a fiscal surplus close to 1.8% of GDP, and economic growth projected at around 5% annually according to IMF estimates.

However, the challenge posed by Danford is to convince an electorate less accustomed to economic sacrifice that only measures like Milei's can prevent economic collapse.
