The Argentine Federal Police arrested this Sunday in the Buenos Aires locality of Avellaneda one of the left-wing terrorists who threw Molotov cocktails at security force officers in the vicinity of the National Congress, in the context of the disturbances that occurred during the debate on the Government's Labor Modernization Law of Javier Milei.
The operation was carried out by the Superintendency of Federal Investigations of the Federal Police, which managed to locate the suspect when he was leaving an amateur boxing tournament. According to the National Security Ministry, the detainee was identified as Milton I. Tolomeo, 39 years old, whom the authorities called "the Molotov anarchist".
According to the investigation, the suspect was identified after a detailed analysis of images that made it possible to determine his direct participation in the throwing of incendiary bombs at federal forces personnel deployed during the demonstration against Labor Modernization. The arrest was carried out on a public street by personnel from the Federal Police's Public Health Crimes Division, in Buenos Aires territory.

Subsequently, by order of Criminal, Misdemeanor and Offenses Court No. 6 of the City of Buenos Aires, presided over by Judge Gonzalo Rua, a search was conducted at the detainee's residence, located on Directorio Avenue at 600, in the Buenos Aires neighborhood of Caballito. The suspect himself handed over the key to his home at the time of his arrest, which allowed the officers to carry out the corresponding judicial procedure.
