The legal situation of Morena Rial took an unexpected turn after DDM (América TV) reported that the young woman "might be pregnant." According to the show, this information came from a document her defense submitted to the San Isidro Court of Appeals.
The news emerged alongside another key development. The court once again rejected the request for house arrest, so the daughter of Jorge Rial will remain in custody.

The Court rejected house arrest and upheld pretrial detention
On DDM, journalist Martín Candalaft explained that the Court confirmed a previous ruling from June 29, maintaining pretrial detention. "In short, they're denying her house arrest," the panelist explained.
The defense was unable to change the legal status of the 26-year-old influencer, who will remain in custody while the evidence in the case is reviewed.
The document stating that Morena might be pregnant
Meanwhile, as the rejection of house arrest was being decided, Rial's lawyers submitted a document on December 8 stating that the young woman "might be pregnant." According to Candalaft, this filing surprised the judges and opened a new stage in the case.
The Court recorded the claim and notified the trial judge, Andrea Rodríguez Mentón, to order the necessary measures and verify the information provided by the defense.
What measures the court must now take
In section 3 of the ruling, the judges asked the magistrate to verify the existence of the pregnancy and act accordingly. However, they clarified that this filing doesn't change the rejection of house arrest.
