The exhibition will take place in Córdoba on September 20 and 30. It will bring together the main players in the sector: producers, businesspeople, experts, and public organizations
This Monday, the Central Livestock Expo was presented, an event that aims to be a kind of "Rural de Palermo of the Interior". This is an event that will take place on September 29 and 30 at the Convention Center in Córdoba and promises to be a turning point for the Argentine livestock sector, driving growth, innovation, and the international projection of the livestock and meat supply chain.
For two days, the expo will bring together the main players in the sector: producers, entrepreneurs, experts, and public organizations. The goal is to offer a comprehensive platform where visitors can connect with every link in the production chain.
José Jofré, from the organizing committee, highlighted that the expo arises at a time of "great momentum" for Argentine livestock, seeking to be the space where producers and technicians find "more innovative solutions for the production of the future."

Attractions of the Central Livestock Expo
- Exhibitor and technology sector: A space to discover the latest developments in equipment, genetics, and digital tools.
- Top-level conferences: Talks with experts on key topics for sustainable and profitable livestock farming.
- Live auctions: An opportunity to close deals and acquire high-quality genetics.
Global vision and market opening
One of the event's strengths is its vision for international projection. Germán Mihlager, another representative of the organization, emphasized that the expo seeks not only internal growth but also the opening of new markets.

"This is a moment we have to ride this wave. We understand that today's great interest in livestock, according to experts, is projected for 10 years, and it's key for producers to capitalize on it," Mihlager explained.
Meanwhile, Paola Carreño detailed that the event will feature the participation of foreign delegations, including representatives from the embassies of Morocco, the Chinese-Argentine Chamber, the Brazilian Chamber, and the Kuwaiti Chamber, as well as European agencies.
This international influx will allow foreign entrepreneurs to observe the potential of Argentine livestock producers, thus enhancing business opportunities and the promotion of meat worldwide.
The potential of Córdoba's livestock sector
Daniel Urcía, from IPCVA, highlighted the potential of Argentine meat and the role of exports. "For some time, together with the government of Córdoba, we have been aware of the province's livestock potential. Exporting is the way forward for Córdoba's meat industry," he stated.
Marcelo Calle, Secretary of Livestock of Córdoba, underlined the sector's growth in the province. "We have the best breeding farms in the country. We have enormous potential to continue strengthening the meat supply chain," he commented, assuring that the provincial government "will support with public policies so that private investors can operate in the best possible way."
To conclude, Juan Cruz Molina, Regional Director of INTA, highlighted his institution's active participation. INTA will offer "talks and technical advice" to highlight the importance of science and technology in sustainable livestock production, and will seek new technologies to "reach many more agricultural producers."
