They report that the Biden administration hid side effects of the COVID vaccine.
Despite knowing the risk of myocarditis in young men, health authorities chose to hide it
A new report from the Senate Homeland Security Committee blamed the federal health agencies for not warning people about the potentially deadly side effects of the mRNA COVID-19 vaccines, particularly the risk of myocarditis in young men. The report suggests that the Joe Biden administration was responsible for concealing these risks.
Dr. Jordan Vaughn, president of the Microvascular Research Foundation, testified at the Capitol on Wednesday during the first hearing of the Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations on the negative side effects of the COVID-19 vaccine, criticizing the decision of public health officials in 2021 to not issue a Health Alert Network message when the increased risks of the COVID-19 vaccine became evident.
Since February 2021, federal health authorities received alerts about a “considerable increase in myocarditis cases” in young people who had received the Pfizer vaccine. However, it wasn't until late June of that year that the drug labels were modified to include that adverse effect.

“Although CDC and FDA officials were fully aware of the risk of myocarditis following COVID-19 vaccination, the Biden administration chose not to issue a formal warning to the public about the safety concerns for months, endangering the health of young Americans,” states the 54-page document.
Myocarditis involves the inflammation of the heart muscle, while pericarditis affects the tissue surrounding it. When both conditions occur together, it is known as myopericarditis.
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the majority of those who experience these side reactions usually recover over time with a “resolution of symptoms.”
The censorship of truth
During the period when health officials delayed updating the warning labels, several doctors who raised concerns about possible links between myocarditis and the vaccines were subjected to censorship, silenced, or accused of spreading supposed “disinformation.”
Dr. Tracy Beth Hoeg, who served as an advisory epidemiologist at the Florida Department of Health, had one of her tweets labeled as “misleading” for mentioning the risks of myocarditis detected in vaccine studies in mid-2021.

Even after health authorities modified the labels, those who expressed concern about myocarditis cases continued to face reprisals and censorship. In September 2022, the Twitter (X) account of cardiologist Anish Koka, owner of a clinic in Philadelphia, was suspended for allegedly sharing a link to a review on post-vaccine myocarditis. The account was reinstated after Koka agreed to remove the content.
Finally, the report also detailed that some available evidence already raised concerns about myocarditis in early 2021. However, the attention of senior health officials intensified only after February 28 of that year, when a representative from the Israeli Ministry of Health contacted the CDC and FDA to report 40 cases of myocarditis and other heart problems among young people vaccinated with Pfizer.
Instead of issuing a Public Health Alert (HAN), the CDC chose to publish a note on its website on May 28, 2021, acknowledging an “increase in myocarditis and pericarditis cases” in the United States following the administration of Pfizer and Moderna mRNA vaccines, although they continued to recommend vaccination for people aged 12 and older.
