After several months without directing, Ariel Holan agreed to arrive in Cerro Porteño. The former coach of Rosario Central will arrive to replace Jorge Bava and will travel to Paraguay in the next few days to sign a contract for one season

The club's leadership highlighted its profile and trajectory to justify the choice. “We consider that he is a technician who has a lot of experience and still a lot of energy. He is a person who has a very intense job and gets to the squad well. He likes working with youth players and that ensures the club's sustainability,” they said from the management led by Blas Reguera.
Holan will take on a team that is going through a good present in the local tournament, where he remains one of the protagonists and seeks to close the gap with Olimpia, the current leader of the championship.

Its bank premiere could take place on Saturday, April 4, when the Cyclone receives May 2, since the previous commitment will be directed on an interim basis by Jorge Achucaro for a matter of
time.
