Trump achieves the most secure border in history in 6 months (0.5 years) of government.

The figures provided by border patrol reports show a dramatic drop in the number of immigrants detained while attempting to cross the border illegally

For the fourth consecutive month and after years of chaos at the border under the Biden administration, Border Patrol leaders are celebrating that July was the month with the lowest number of apprehensions in history.

This way, Border Patrol agents arrested approximately 4,600 migrants in July who attempted to illegally cross various points along the southwest border of the United States.

According to a report from the Customs and Border Protection Office (CBP), accessed by Breitbart, this number of detainees represents a 24% decrease compared to the 6,072 arrests in June and a 92% drop compared to July 2023.

No illegal immigrant is released inside the country under the Trump administration.

For the third consecutive month, agents did not allow any illegal immigrant who had been apprehended at the border to be released on American soil.

The historic low in border crossings had already been set by the Republican administration in the past March. In June, border agents had reported the lowest number of arrests in a single day, having apprehended only 112 illegal immigrants.

On July 20, that record was surpassed with a report of only 88 arrests, with the average number of daily apprehensions dropping to 148 per day that month.

During the Biden administration, the "catch and release" system prevailed, which resulted in between 50 and 70 percent of migrants encountered at the border being released inside the country. This policy resulted in millions of illegal immigrants being left in American cities daily without any type of control or security screening.
