The virtual embassy of the United States for Iran warned that all United States citizens must leave the country
The government of the United States issued an urgent warning to its citizens this Tuesday to leave Iran immediately, amid a climate of growing instability marked by massive protests against the regime and violent repression by the Iranian authorities.
The alert was released by the United States virtual embassy for Iran, which recommended that Americans leave the country without relying on government assistance.
According to the statement, the demonstrations are intensifying in different regions and could become even more violent, with an increase in arrests and injuries. The alert also warns about reinforced security measures, road and highway closures, disruptions to public transportation, and widespread internet shutdowns.

Washington indicated that the Iranian government has restricted access to mobile networks, telephone lines, and the national internet, limiting communication and the flow of information in the country.
The protests, which have spread in recent weeks, have been met with harsh repression ordered by the leadership of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. Human rights organizations denounce a very high number of fatalities and mass detentions.
Activists estimate that at least 500 people have died in connection with the demonstrations, while more than 10,600 have been detained. These figures have intensified international criticism of the Iranian regime for the use of lethal force and the systematic persecution of opponents.

In this context, President Donald Trump announced on Monday the imposition of a 25% tariff on any country that keeps trade relations with Iran. Through a message on the Truth Social network, Trump stated that the measure is "effective immediately" and "final and conclusive," and he justified it as a response to the violent repression against the demonstrators. The decision seeks to increase economic pressure and the international isolation of Tehran.
Tension rose even further after statements by the Iranian Foreign Minister, Abbas Araghchi, who asserted that Iran is "ready for war," amid reports indicating that Washington is evaluating military options to intervene and protect civilians.
