Confidence in the Government of Javier Milei grew in June and marked a monthly improvement of 3.9% compared to May, according to the Government Confidence Index developed by the School of Government at Torcuato Di Tella University. The most significant growth was recorded in Greater Buenos Aires, where the indicator rose by 11.1%, while it also improved among the female population, with an increase of 5.6%.

The indicator reached 2.07 points on a scale of 0 to 5 and showed a recovery in citizen evaluation of various aspects of national management. The results confirm an improvement compared to the previous month and reflect stronger support in central areas of national administration.

Trust in Milei grew by more than 11% in Greater Buenos Aires, according to Di Tella.

The increase was mainly driven by three of the five components that make up the index. The largest growth was recorded in Efficiency, which advanced by 12.8% monthly and reached 2.12 points, interpreted by analysts as a result of the inflation deceleration. Capacity also improved, rising by 4.3% to 2.46 points, while Concern for the general interest increased by 3.8% and stood at 1.63 points.

The component Honesty, one of the strongest aspects of the Milei administration within the report, remained stable at 2.46 points. Meanwhile, the General Evaluation of the Government stood at 1.68 points, with a marginal variation compared to May.

Among the female population, confidence in the Government grew by 5.6% and reached 1.70 points, while among men it rose by 3.7% to 2.37 points. By age group, the index increased among those over 50 years old, reaching 2.23 points, and also among young people aged 18 to 29, where it stood at 2.18 points.

In terms of territorial distribution, the interior of the country again showed the highest level of confidence, with 2.19 points. However, the most significant growth was recorded in Greater Buenos Aires, where the index rose by 11.1% monthly and reached 1.83 points. The City of Buenos Aires also showed an improvement of 6.3%, up to 2.03 points.

Another highlighted point of the report is the comparison with other governments at the same point in their management. In the thirtieth month of his term, Milei ranked above Mauricio Macri, Cristina Fernández de Kirchner, and Alberto Fernández, consolidating a level of confidence higher than that of many of his predecessors.

The survey was conducted by Poliarquía Consultores between June 2 and June 11, with a sample of 1,000 people over 18 years old in 39 cities across the country. The result shows that, after a month with better economic and administrative signals, confidence in Milei's Government grew again compared to May.
