Two men were detained by the Córdoba Police after a robbery committed at a kiosk in the Pan de Azúcar neighborhood, in Villa Allende. The suspects allegedly broke the store's window during the early morning hours to enter and steal the merchandise. Among the stolen items were more than 100 packs of cigarettes and cash.
The operation took place at the corner of Alto Perú Street and Padre Luchesse Avenue, in the Antigua Estancia neighborhood. Police officers patrolling the area observed the men acting suspiciously and proceeded to intercept them. Upon searching them, they found a backpack with bills, a knife, and the rest of the stolen loot.
The police intervention made it possible to recover the items and place those involved at the disposal of the justice system. Both were taken to the nearest station under preventive custody. The incident is being investigated as aggravated robbery and property damage, with the intervention of the local prosecutor's office.
