Two Palestinian terrorists carried out a massacre in Jerusalem
This Monday morning, two brutal Palestinian terrorists opened fire at a bus stop in the Israeli city
This Monday, two armed Palestinians opened fire at a bus stop on the outskirts of Jerusalem, leaving at least six people dead and eleven injured, in one of the deadliest attacks in the city in recent years. The attack took place at the Ramot junction, an area north of East Jerusalem, and was quickly classified by Israeli police as a terrorist attack.
According to footage captured by a camera, the strikers arrived by car and began shooting indiscriminately at people waiting at the stop.
The video shows civilians desperately fleeing as gunshots are heard. Subsequently, the assailants attempted to continue the attack by boarding a bus, but were shot dead by an Israeli soldier and an armed civilian who were at the scene. Security forces also recovered several weapons, ammunition, and a knife used in the attack.

Among the fatalities are a 50-year-old man, a woman in her fifties, and three men in their thirties. Later, Israel's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Gideon Saar, confirmed the death of a sixth victim. In addition, six people remain in serious condition due to gunshot wounds, while others suffered injuries of varying severity.
Several Israeli citizens recounted their experience from the hospital: "Suddenly I heard the gunshots, I felt like I was running for an eternity. I thought I was going to die," one survivor said.
The attack also claimed the life of a Spanish citizen, prompting an official condemnation from the government of Spain, as well as from France, the European Union, and the United Arab Emirates. Another victim of this brutal attack was a 57-year-old Argentine woman (57 years old), identified as Mariela Voloj de Mendelson.
Israeli authorities identified the strikers as Palestinians from the West Bank, although their names have not been released. After the attack, the Chief of Staff of the Israeli army, Eyal Zamir, ordered a complete closure of the area from which the strikers came, as part of a military operation aimed at capturing those who may have collaborated with them.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu strongly condemned the attack and vowed to find and punish all those involved: "We will catch everyone who helped them, everyone who sent them," he stated.
Netanyahu also took the opportunity to reiterate Israel's commitment to the fight against terrorism, both inside and outside its borders, mentioning threats from groups backed by Iran, such as Hamas, Hezbollah, and the Houthis.
Meanwhile, Israeli President Isaac Herzog described the day as a "painful and difficult morning," and expressed his dismay at the murder of "innocent civilians, women, men, and children, brutally murdered in cold blood." In contrast, the savage Palestinian terrorist groupsHamas and Islamic Jihad praised the attack, describing it as an act of "resistance," although they did not directly claim responsibility.

This attack comes in the context of a prolonged conflict that has intensified since the start of the war in Gaza in October 2023, when an attack led by Hamas caused more than 1,200 deaths in Israel and the kidnapping of at least 251 people. Since then, there has been an increase in terrorist attacks in Israeli cities, including shootings and stabbings in both Jerusalem and Tel Aviv.
The Israeli army has deployed troops in the Ramallah area, in the West Bank, to carry out raids and arrests with the aim of preventing future attacks. Tensions continue to rise amid a conflict that seems far from over, in which violence against civilians continues to claim victims on both sides.
