Ultra Beasts are coming to Pokémon TCG Pocket in a new leaked set.
The community remains alert to the possible official announcement, which is expected to occur in May
Pokémon TCG Pocket, the popular mobile collectible card game proposal from Pokémon, continues to consistently add content.
After the successful launch of the Celestial Guardians expansion, which included more than 250 new cards, it was leaked that the next set would focus on one of the most intriguing themes of the Pokémon universe: the Ultra Beasts.
Leaks point to an expansion featuring the Ultra Beasts
According to the specialized account Centro Leaks, the new mini set being prepared for the game will include cards centered on the Ultra Beasts, interdimensional creatures that debuted in the Alola generation. Although there is no official confirmation yet from DeNA or The Pokémon Company, this type of leak usually accurately anticipates the franchise's moves.
The Ultra Beasts are known for their rarity and their essential role in the narrative of the seventh generation. Their inclusion in a mini expansion would be a strategic move to attract both collectors and players who value the incorporation of unique creatures.

A new rarity: BMR
In addition to the Ultra Beasts, the leaks reveal that a new type of rarity called BMR would be introduced, marking the first addition of this nature since 2023. According to the leak, BMR cards would have a monochromatic design, assigning a specific color palette to each featured creature.
For example, Zekrom appears in black tones, Reshiram in white, and Victini with red accents. These visual patterns not only reinforce the set's aesthetic but could also indicate a collection mechanic based on color combinations or thematic dualities.
Although it was not officially clarified what BMR means, it is speculated that the initials refer to "Black/White Rare", directly alluding to the legendary creatures of the fifth generation, which could also be featured in this release.

Expectation for the new expansion
The community remains alert to the possible official announcement, which is expected to occur in May. The strategy of frequent releases with specific themes has been key to the sustained success of Pokémon TCG Pocket on mobile devices. This upcoming expansion could further consolidate its position within the digital collectible games market.
In this context, the inclusion of the Ultra Beasts and the BMR rarity appears as an attempt to revitalize the interest of veteran players, while continuing to attract new users with visually impactful and collectible value proposals.
