The influencer replied to the harsh criticism received on social media for not carrying out a charity campaign.
Santiago Maratea replied forcefully to those who criticized him for not organizing a fundraising campaign for those affected by the floods in Bahía Blanca.
Known for his successful charitable campaigns, the influencer appeared furious at the criticism on social media and explained his reasons clearly and directly.
La increíble razón por la cual Santi Maratea no organizó una colecta por Bahía Blanca
In a message posted on social media, he denied the accusations from his detractors, who pointed to his supposed inaction due to the arrival of the new president."To the people who say to me 'eh, Maratea, now that Milei is in government, you no longer do fundraisers,' I tell them that this would be the fifth fundraiser I've done with Milei as president", he exclaimed.
Thus challenging those who accused him of abandoning his charitable causes after the change in government.
However, the content creator didn't limit himself to responding to political criticism. In a strong and defiant tone, Maratea questioned his critics, calling them "ridiculous" for considering themselves revolutionaries without having the necessary knowledge to generate real change.

"They think they're rebellious and the only thing rebellious about them... is like that adolescent tint that makes them ridiculous", he expressed indignantly.
"I ask you, don't you feel ashamed to think you're denouncing?", he launched, making clear his disagreement with the way some attack him.
Regarding the floods in Bahía Blanca, Santiago explained why he hadn't called for a fundraiser. Although he acknowledged the magnitude of the tragedy, he pointed out that the situation is complex due to the large number of affected people and the difficulty in organizing the distribution of funds.
"It's complicated because there are many people with different needs. What resembles this are the fires, where it's easier to allocate funds", he explained.
"The problem is that when the affected are so many people, it's difficult to organize where to gather that money and where to allocate that money, because there are many people facing many different problems due to these floods. Something similar is the fires in Corrientes", the Instagrammer noted.
With this forceful response, he made it clear that the circumstances of each tragedy require a different approach to ensure that resources reach those who need them most efficiently.
