In the middle of a segment on Intrusos, Mariano Martínez and Rodrigo Lussich had a tense exchange that left everyone on edge. The actor, who was discussing his current situation in the media, received a question about his decision to host La Jaula de la Moda on Ciudad Magazine.
What started as a relaxed conversation took an unexpected turn when Martínez reacted arrogantly. Addressing Lussich directly, he said: “Who do you think you are, Lussich? Who have you beaten? Did you discover gunpowder?”.
The host of Intrusos did not remain silent and responded firmly. He recalled his long career and pointed out that he has been leading programs for two decades, while Martínez is just starting in that role. “It's me. I definitely beat you in hosting because I've been doing it for 20 years and you for two days,” he replied.
The situation became more uncomfortable when Lussich asked if Martínez was angry, as he wasn't sure if the comment was a joke. “Because we’re going to be in trouble...,” he added seriously.
The back-and-forth that escalated
Martínez insisted that he was just joking, but his arrogant tone raised doubts. “I don’t know what you said, honestly. I’m just messing with you... Can’t you take a joke? What’s wrong with you?” the actor continued. Lussich, for his part, retorted by asking if he was the one who couldn’t handle a joke.
The dialogue continued with quick exchanges. Martínez reiterated that he was joking and didn’t understand how Lussich had taken it seriously. The host explained that, not knowing him well, he couldn’t tell if he was serious or not.
