The Under-17 National Team crushed Bolivia 3-0 in the play-offs of the South American Championship in Colombia and qualified for the World Cup in the category, which will take place between November 5 and 27 in Qatar.
Argentina dominated the match, but struggled to open the scoring. The "Pibes de Placente" took the lead just before the end of the first half, with a header goal by Thomas De Martis at 44 minutes of play. In the second half, at thirteen minutes, the Lanús forward scored in a one-on-one with the goalkeeper after a great pass from Elián Ojeda. Finally, with time up, Tomás Parmo would score the third after a shot that hit the post, sealing the match and Argentina's qualification for the next World Cup.

Despite being qualified, the national team will have one last commitment in the South American Championship, as they will face Paraguay this Friday for the fifth place in the tournament. That same day, Bolivia will play against Ecuador to determine the seventh place and the last Conmebol qualifier for the World Cup.
Meanwhile, today the semifinals of the tournament are being played. In the first match, Brazil and Chile will face each other, and hours later the arepa classic between Colombia and Venezuela. The South American Championship will conclude on Saturday with the third-place match and the grand final.
