During the Annual Ordinary Assembly, Aníbal Fernández was reelected this Saturday as president of the Argentine Confederation of Field and Indoor Hockey (CAH) for the period 2025-2029.

Thus, the author of the infamous phrase "the narcos have won" will continue to lead the entity that manages Argentine hockey, continuing a cycle that began in 2021. Previously, Fernández had been in charge of the confederation in a first stage between 2013 and 2016, when he was still president of Quilmes, National Senator, and General Secretary of the convicted Cristina Fernández de Kirchner.
The renewal of authorities also brought new names in the main leadership positions. Sergio Daniel Marcellini was appointed as first vice president, Delfina Otero will assume the second vice presidency, and Marcelo Sanfenreiter will occupy the position of third vice president.

The event took place at the CAH headquarters, with the participation of 33 of the 36 affiliated entities from across the country. At the event, the Peronist leader made the formal thanks to the outgoing members of the previous management's Council and highlighted the work done in the last four years.
