The Juventus finished their preseason with a scene as unusual as it is concerning. After the final whistle of the last friendly match against their U23 affiliate Juventus Next Gen, several fans entered the field to celebrate and one of them accidentally collided with Federico Gatti, who lay on the grass with evident discomfort in his ankle.
The Italian defender was on the field when a fan ran in his direction, lost his balance, and slid into the footballer. The impact forced Gatti to stop and raised concerns among the coaching staff, especially with the official competition starting soon.
Although initially it was not reported that it was a serious injury, the defender continues to work separately. According to journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, Gatti is undergoing a personalized program as a precaution while waiting for the evolution of his discomfort.
