The unusual proposal Luciano Castro received: 'They asked me if they could...'
The actor once again humorously referred to the episode that, in 2019, put him at the center of everyone's attention
Luciano Castro once again referred with humor—and a bit of embarrassment—to the episode that put him at the center of attention in 2019: the viral spread of his intimate photos. Invited to the show Cortá por Lozano (Telefe), the actor surprised everyone by sharing the unusual proposal he received from a hot dog chain after the media exposure of the scandal.
"Is it true that a hot dog place wanted to name their biggest sausage after you?" Verónica Lozano asked him directly, causing laughter in the studio. Amid laughter and somewhat embarrassed, Castro confirmed the story: "A girl called me, on behalf of her family, who owns a hot dog chain in La Plata. She asked me if they could launch a hot dog with my name."

The anecdote sparked a wave of amusing comments among those present. "Was it called 'Lucho Castro'? 'Pancho Castro'?" Lozano joked, while Vicky Xipolitakis joined in, wanting to know how long the supposed hot dog was. Castro, laughing, explained that although the proposal was serious, he declined it respectfully: "I told them not to do it, and I liked that they replied they wouldn't consider it without talking to me first."
Although he now recounts it with humor, the actor admitted that the initial impact was painful. At the time, he confessed he was "really having a hard time," and the most difficult part was having to address the issue with his children. Years later, in an emotional interview on PH: Podemos Hablar, he broke down while recalling that conversation with his eldest son, Mateo: "It was very distressing. But I prefer to have a son who tells me things to my face rather than a submissive one. I'm proud of him," he said with tears in his eyes.

Sabrina Rojas, his ex-partner and mother of his children Esperanza and Fausto, also spoke about the episode. At that time, she revealed that the images had been sent by the actor to another woman during a brief separation. Despite everything, she chose to defend him publicly and pointed at those who spread the content: "Sharing those photos is being complicit in a crime. People need to be aware, there are people who could end up committing suicide over something like this," she emphasized.
