Violent thieves assaulted a man and shot a retiree in La Matanza
The criminals intercepted a man who was leaving a currency exchange carrying money inside a bag
A violent "salidera" type assault left an 86-year-old retireeseriously injured this Monday morning in the town of Villa Celina, in the Buenos Aires district of La Matanza.
The shocking episode, which unfortunately is common in the province of the disastrous ultra-Kirchnerist governor Axel Kicillof, took place shortly after 10 in the morning on Chilavert Street and was recorded by a security camera in the area.
The images show the moment when a man, accompanied by his family, leaves a currency exchange carrying money in a bag.

The criminals, who had already identified him, discreetly followed him for several blocks until intercepting him on the 1300 block of Chilavert.
The video shows how at least three criminals attacked him from behind and stole the bag with the money. After completing the assault, they attempted to flee on foot.
During the escape, the criminals also tried to rob the retiree's son, who was carrying a bag with two jackets inside. At that moment, a struggle ensued between the young man and the assailants, causing the mother to fall.

To ensure their escape, the strikers began to shoot and one of the bullets hit a neighbor of Villa Celina in the leg, who was caught in the line of fire.
While the thieves fled at full speed, a woman present at the scene improvised a tourniquet on the injured man's leg while they awaited the arrival of the ambulance.
The victim was identified as Aníbal Salomón, an 86-year-old retiree who remains hospitalized at Los Cedros clinic. The bullet remained lodged in his body without exiting, making his health condition delicate.
