LIVE: Right Fest 2025, the world's most anti-leftist event

President Javier Milei will be the keynote speaker at the event, which brought together about 2,500 people

This Tuesday, July 22, President Javier Milei will be the keynote speaker at "La Derecha Fest," a libertarian event taking place in the city of Córdoba, specifically at the Quorum Hotel, starting at 5:00 p.m.

The head of state will close the day with a lecture titled "The Construction of the Miracle" in the district that became one of his main electoral strongholds during the national elections.

The festival, which its organizers describe as "the most anti-leftist event in the world," will bring together about 2,500 people, including activists, intellectuals, content creators, and prominent members of the libertarian sphere.

The meeting's agenda will revolve around thematic panels focused on the so-called cultural battle, with the purpose of strengthening discourse, activating activism, and disputing common sense on issues related to values, communication, and the exercise of power.

President Milei speaks

After entering amid the entire crowd, President Javier Milei began his speech, thanking Agustín Laje and La Derecha Diario for organizing the event La Derecha Fest. "To my dearest friend Agustín Laje, as well as to the entire team at La Derecha Diario for organizing this enormous event, thank you very much," the president expressed his gratitude.

At the beginning of his speech, the president encouraged his supporters and called on them to sing "TAKE THE PENGUIN OUT OF THE DRAWER SO HE CAN SEE THAT THE KIDS HAVE CHANGED THEIR MINDS AND CARRY THE FLAG BROUGHT BY THE LION."

Subsequently, Milei targeted and criticized the hypocritical Kirchnerists who claim to defend retirees after having destroyed their pensions: "Those who are concerned about pensions today are the same ones who left pensions at 80 dollars, while today pensions are above 350 dollars in a more open economy, so each dollar buys more than before," he criticized.

"With DNU 7023 and the Bases Law, with their reforms, we made 2,800 structural reforms, 28 times more than Menem did. In a year and a half, we have erased one hundred years of legitimism and we won't stop until we become the freest country in the world. We are proud to be extreme reformists," Milei asserted.

The president also looked ahead to the legislative elections in October: "Imagine that today we only have 15% of the deputies and 10% of the senators, but even so, it is a march that only goes in one direction, because the country that blinded us, the party of the State, was disastrous," he said.

One of the sharpest moments was when he lashed out at his vice president, Victoria Villarruel, calling her "a brute traitor," a phrase that resonated in an auditorium that had just been chanting against her.

On an ideological note, Milei also delved into the "cultural battle," pointing out that "that is where it is disputed who is right and why. History has repeatedly shown that whoever prevails in culture ends up prevailing in the political arena," and he called for promoting the ideas of freedom "in every City Council, on every radio and TV channel in the country." "We must fight the battle so that the left is only a bad dream," he concluded, while the audience gave him a standing ovation.
