Wanda Nara returned to Argentina and, as soon as she set foot on Ezeiza soil, she offered a harsh testimony about her personal situation with Mauro Icardi. Through tears and with a trembling voice, she stated that the footballer subjected her to episodes of violence and even kept her "held captive" on several occasions.
"I found out through my lawyers that Mauro is a debtor of child support. I hope he comes to Argentina... I travel less than a flight attendant and, unlike what happens to me, they don't take their children away from them. I'm working," she began by saying to the press, before going into details about the accusations against the player.
Accusations of violence and comparisons with the Contardi case
The businesswoman referred directly to the accusations involving Icardi: "I'm neither notified nor accused, and Mauro has seven accusations of gender-based violence. I invite you to investigate the criminal complaint. Justice will take time, as happened with Julieta (Prandi), but it will come. He kept me held captive three times and there was a lot of violence, with my daughters as well," she declared, in an explicit comparison with the ordeal that the model reported having lived with Claudio Contardi.
Amid sobs, she recounted episodes that her daughters allegedly suffered: "For Children's Day, I bought them a gift in their father's name and he called them to say 'it's a lie, your mom is a fucking liar.' He also told them that he had released their cats on the street and that they couldn't operate on a sick dog in Italy. All of it is violence."

Nara also addressed rumors about her health, which she attributed to her ex-husband: "They tried to say that I was using drugs, and if anyone knows my medication, it's Mauro. I take an expensive treatment and he knows I don't use drugs because I can't, so I don't die. Saying otherwise is violence."
Regarding Icardi's public life, she launched a harsh criticism: "I give explanations to Justice and to my children. I presented my contract with Netflix and I don't make a living by taking photos of my man on a balcony so that his bulge is visible. I saw that for 12 years, I want him to let me go," she pointed out, alluding to a photo that China Suárez shared on social media of the footballer in his underwear.
"Today China Suárez makes me feel sorry, everything she shows, everything she's going to experience. No one warned me about anything. Time will tell," she added.
