What does Lola, the youngest daughter of Jorge Lanta and Sara Stewart Brown, do for a living?
Six months after the journalist's passing, his youngest daughter, Lola Lanata, is following in his footsteps in the media
Jorge Lanata's death on December 30, 2024, left a deep mark on Argentine journalism. However, the most intimate impact was naturally experienced by his closest circle: his widow, his friends, and especially, his daughters Bárbara and Lola, who were born during different stages of his personal life.
Since then, both have chosen to continue their lives in a reserved manner. However, in recent months, Lola Lanata, the journalist's youngest daughter with Sara Stewart Brown, has begun to gain visibility due to her growing involvement in the media world and her work in journalistic production.
According to Karina Iavícoli on the program Intrusos, Lola decided to follow in her father's footsteps and currently works as a producer at Resumido Info, a digital media outlet led by Diego Leuco. "She is now dedicated to journalism, she's at Resumido Info, Leuco hired her. She's his employee and the truth is that Lolita is doing well. She produces there now", the panelist said.

In a recent interview with Clarín, Lola spoke for the first time about her relationship with her father and the support she gave him in his final months. "We said a lot of things to each other. Fortunately, I was able to be with him a lot. I don't have any guilt of 'I should have gone' or 'I should have stayed longer,' because the truth is that I was studying, working", the young woman recounted, with a maturity that moved many.
"I would go from class to work, leave the office, go to the hospital, and end up going home around 10 at night. I did everything I could with what I had", she added, making clear the intensity with which she lived through that period and the bond they managed to rebuild.
Lola was born in 2004, during the relationship between Jorge Lanata and Sara Stewart Brown, with whom the journalist shared almost two decades of life and who was key in his medical treatment, including the historic 2015 cross-kidney transplant.

Although she keeps a low profile regarding her private life, Lola is active on social media, where she is gaining followers and is emerging as an influencer. In fact, her first approach to journalism was early: at the age of 10, she wrote her first article on the blog "Border Periodismo," an experience that marked the beginning of a path that is now starting to take shape.
