Tuesday night delivered one of the most unexpected scenes of Otro Día Perdido (eltrece). Dante Barbera, a young actor with growing recognition in musical theater, appeared unexpectedly as a replacement for Agustín "Rada" Aristarán and opened the show with a confidence that captivated both the audience and the team itself.
"Good evening, welcome to Otro Día Perdido. Today is Tuesday, December 2. Well, Rada didn't come because he went to check his magician's license, so I'll be here. My name is Dante," he said at the outset, taking the microphone with absolute ease.
The introduction, full of humor and spontaneity, set the tone for the episode and provoked instant laughter in the studio.
Dante not only replicated the show's usual opening: he directly took over the main role. With a fresh and direct style, he anticipated the dynamic of the night: "We have ahead of us a show that I have no idea about, but hopefully it's good. Also, I'm here, and we also have the guest, who is the woman of a thousand voices... Fátima Florez."
The scene took Mario Pergolini by surprise, who did not hide his bewilderment at seeing a child hosting live. Far from being intimidated, Dante continued introducing the team with ironies that created even more camaraderie in the studio.
"A comedian who I don't really know who she is, but they tell me her name is Laila Roth", he said, before commenting on the live band: "We're listening to Niños Monjas. I personally prefer trap and hip-hop, but well... it's fine, it's tolerable."

He even took a moment to introduce Pergolini himself with sharp humor and surgical precision: "I don't really know who he is, but they tell me he's a media innovator and that my grandmother is a fan. His name is Mario Daniel Pergolini."
According to what he shared throughout the broadcast, it was Agustín "Rada" Aristarán who invited him to take his seat for one night. Both shared the stage in the musical Matilda, where Dante played Bruce, one of the most beloved characters in the play.
They also performed together in School of Rock, a production that earned Barbera a nomination for the 2024 Hugo Awards for Best Male Performance in an Ensemble, an achievement shared with Mateo Tognolotti and Lautaro Muro López.
