Emanuel Ortega and Julieta Prandi got married this Tuesday, September 15, after several years of relationship. The couple said "I do" at the Civil Registry of San Isidro, accompanied by a small group of family and friends. However, among the guests, there was a notable absence: Julieta Ortega, the musician's sister, was not present.
Far from being a family conflict, the actress herself had anticipated hours earlier that she would not be able to attend and explained the reasons. According to what she said on Los profesionales de siempre (elnueve), she found out about the wedding just a few days before and already had commitments scheduled for that time.
The news even took her by surprise. “So I found out two minutes ago,” she joked while discussing her brother's decision to keep the preparations practically a secret.
Upon learning the date and time, Julieta immediately warned him that she would not be able to accompany him during the civil ceremony. “The only thing I told him was: ‘Manu, I won’t make it to the civil at one in the afternoon’,” she recalled.
Why Julieta Ortega could not attend her brother's wedding
During the interview, Julieta explained that she already had plans to host people at her home who were supposed to do different jobs, a commitment that prevented her from arriving at the Civil Registry of San Isidro at the time of the ceremony.
