Yanina Latorre is experiencing one of the most solid moments of her television career. With the strong ratings of Sálvese quien pueda (SQP) and the daily impact of her reports and exclusives, América TV offered her a one-year contract renewal. She accepted, but not before setting out a series of conditions that, according to her, were approved by the network.
The host explained on El Observador, her radio show, how the negotiations took place and what points she demanded in order to continue leading the show.

The conditions Yanina requested to remain at América TV
"Last night I had dinner with my production team, thinking about next year," she began. "I asked for a few things, a new set. I have a budget, so we're going to request one more field reporter, we're growing," she detailed regarding the improvements she seeks to implement in the show.
She also revealed that she requested to strengthen the production team: "I asked for one more producer, another panelist. I want to have five instead of four."
However, one of the most important clauses, which was also accepted, concerns her personal contract. "I asked for clauses and they accepted them," she assured, without giving details about what they were, although she hinted that she requested more autonomy and resources for the show.

The only pending request: her locker room
Yanina Latorre acknowledged that there was a key point she forgot to negotiate and that has become a daily problem since she has been working on both SQP and LAM: the locker room she uses every day.
"I have one that they give me when I arrive, but other people use it too. So my closet stays locked. When I finish my show, I rush to LAM, I change there, and then I come back," she revealed about how she manages to switch from one show to the other in just a few minutes.
"I wanted to return to my locker room after my show and they told me I couldn't because the next show's people were already there. It can't be that a host can't finish. It's not right," she expressed with frustration.
Although she didn't solve this point in the negotiation, she announced that she will insist on having an exclusive space next season.
