In a new episode of Sálvese Quien Pueda (América), Yanina Latorre surprised with a revelation that refers to an old story involving Eugenia "La China" Suárez and the renowned international singer Ricky Martin. According to the panelist, the event occurred in 2014, during a trip to Punta del Este shared by several entertainment figures.
"A few years ago we went to the Conrad hotel and Ricky Martin was there. On the flight, there were several famous guests like Nicole Neumann, Ángel de Brito, Gimena Accardi with Nico Vázquez —who at that time were still friends with La China— and others," Latorre began telling live.
With her direct style, the panelist explained that the actress had a clear objective: "La China went with a single goal, and she openly said it at the hotel: she wanted to sleep with Ricky Martin." Although she didn't specify whether the attempt was successful or not, Latorre was blunt: "If she succeeded, I owe you, because what La China has is that she doesn't tell those things. This was in 2014."
The truth is that, by then, Ricky Martin had already made his sexual orientation public, which would have been an obstacle in the actress's intentions. But it wouldn't have been the only case where Suárez tried to advance with a man who later clarified his preference for men.
Recently, actor and host Fer Dente recounted that, after a theater performance attended by Suárez, she sent him a private message on social media in which she described him as "hypnotic." From there, they began exchanging messages until, according to him, Eugenia took it a step further and directly flirted with him.
"I had to explain to her that I liked boys," Dente recalled with humor. Far from being uncomfortable, the situation led to a friendship that still remains.
In fact, Suárez was one of the guests on his show Noche al Dente (América Tv). Thus, the former Casi Ángeles wouldn't be afraid of rejection in any situation or person she finds attractive.
