During Sunday’s broadcast of Infama (América), the host of SQP broke her silence after the tensions experienced on the LAM panel. Everything erupted when it became known that Marixa Balli was upset for not having been called to replace Ángel de Brito as the host of the show.
Amid that tense atmosphere, Yanina revealed that she was very close to leaving América’s program. “When this year I managed to have my first show as a host, I spoke with Lucas González and told him I was going to continue as a panelist for a while longer,” she confessed.
Internal tension and a key conversation with Ángel
The panelist said that Ángel de Brito himself asked her to stay on LAM, knowing that her presence is key to the format. “When someone becomes a host, they don't go back to being a panelist. But out of loyalty and gratitude to Ángel, I continue,” she acknowledged, although she made it clear that she has already set an end date.
“I told him that I would stay until the end of the year, I won't move. Next year we'll see what we do,” she stated in a conversation with Nahuel Saa, known as La Criti. She also clarified that, for some time now, she has agreed not to attend the show anymore when Ángel is not present. “I don't think it's right to keep being a panelist for everyone, I feel it's time to consolidate my place as a host,” she added.
Strong denial of the rumors about El Trece
Despite the rumors linking her to El Trece, Yanina was emphatic. “I have three years signed with América. I'm not leaving LAM, or América, or SQP. Nothing makes me happier than my show,” she stated without hesitation.
