Yanina Latorre was lethal with Lali Espósito's sister: 'She didn't admit the mistake'

After the controversial episode that sparked a wave of criticism in different sectors, the host gave her opinion on the matter

Anita Espósito, starred in a controversial episode that sparked a wave of criticism in various sectors. During a stream on Luzutv with Juli Castro and Fede Popgold, the actress and singer, a member of Patria y Familia, made an unfortunate comment about President Javier Milei  that quickly went viral on social media, provoking angry reactions from various figures in entertainment and politics.

It all started when Juli Castro, in a relaxed tone, commented: "I'm going to defend the indefensible. You can kill the president, and I'll defend you". However, it was Lali Espósito's sister K who raised the stakes with a phrase that crossed the line of what is acceptable: "If you want to kill the president, go ahead. I've got your back. I'm waiting for you here. Do you want a black bag?". This expression, which clearly alluded to an act of violence against the President of the Nation, caused outrage among those present and the audience.

The first to react harshly was Yanina Latorre, who on her show Sálvese Quien Pueda (SQP), did not hesitate to criticize Espósito's statement. Although at first she tried to exonerate Juli Castro, who is the youngest of the stream, the panelist did not hold back when it came to Anita: "When she said 'if you're going to kill the president, I've got you covered,' it's as if she understood they were talking about the presidential office", Latorre pointed out, emphasizing the seriousness of the comment.

Fede Popgold tried to downplay the situation, noting that, although the phrase was unfortunate in any context, the seriousness of the matter increased because of the figure mentioned, the president. The host, however, was blunt: "It was strong to say 'bring a bag.' We're talking about the president, it's not a joking matter", she stated.

Amid the growing controversy, those involved in the stream apologized, although, according to Latorre, these were not enough and did not seem to demonstrate sincerity at all. "I don't think she means it. Anita is articulate, she's intelligent, but she didn't acknowledge the mistake. You suggested putting the presidential office in a bag, that's not okay!", she concluded, making her stance clear.
