Zelenski is said to have apologized to Trump through a letter, according to the BBC.
According to the British media, the Ukrainian leader reportedly sent the appropriate apologies to the American president.
The United States special envoy, Steve Witkoff, revealed that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy apologized to President Donald Trump for the public altercation they had during a meeting in the Oval Office. Witkoff commented in an interview that Zelenskiy sent a letter to Trump apologizing for the incident, which he considered an important step in the relations between both countries. After the confrontation, which took place on February 28, Zelenskiy had described the meeting as "regrettable," but had not issued a formal apology at that time.
