After successfully completing the ninth consecutive night of attacks against the Islamic regime, President Donald Trump declared on Sunday that the United States had hit "very hard" Iranian terrorists in honor of the three U.S. military service members who died in recent days in Jordan and Iraq.

"We hit them very hard again tonight, and we did it in honor of the probably three —it's probably three, instead of two— great patriots", Trump told reporters upon returning to Washington after attending the World Cup final.

The president noted that the ayatollah regime was "very, very severely damaged" and had lost almost all of its military strength. "They have lost almost everything, militarily," he indicated. "They have very little left. They have some missiles. They have some drones. They have some manufacturing capability, but not much." "We control the strait. They control nothing," the Republican mogul assured.

When asked about U.S. casualties, Trump stated that his administration felt "very bad" and argued that the fallen military personnel had been fighting to ensure that Iran could never obtain a nuclear weapon. "What we are doing now is eliminating any possibility that they could have a nuclear missile," he affirmed.

Over the weekend, U.S. Central Command announced that two service members died on Friday in an Iranian ballistic missile and drone attack while defending a base in Jordan. In the same attack, four other service members were evacuated to hospitals but have since been discharged. Another U.S. service member died in northern Iraq during a controlled explosion.

Secretary of War Pete Hegseth paid tribute to the fallen, describing them as American heroes who gave their lives protecting their fellow service members and defending the country from Iranian attacks. In this regard, the U.S. Army reported that more than 50,000 troops are operating throughout the Middle East.

Trump maintains that the naval blockade and military operations aim to ensure that Tehran can no longer threaten U.S. troops, attack commercial maritime transport, or develop a nuclear weapon. "We control the strait," the president asserted, "They control nothing."
