The Minneapolis police raided the apartment of the son of radical Islamic congresswoman Ilhan Omar and arrested his roommate on a weapons possession charge. Firearms and ammunition were recovered at the scene, as reported exclusively by the Daily Mail.
The raid took place on Tuesday night. As a result of this police procedure, 22-year-old Abdulrahman Abdi was arrested, who was later booked into the Hennepin County jail on a charge related to illegal possession of firearms.
The arrest came after a police officer conducted a traffic stop and the driver, the now-accused Abdi, was cited for having a revoked license and not having car insurance, being released at the scene. Once the vehicle was impounded, a firearm was recovered from inside. Authorities then tracked Abdi's house and executed the raid.

Abdi is a criminal with 10 prior convictions, most of which are for misdemeanors such as speeding, fleeing from a police officer in a motor vehicle, using a cell phone while driving, and failing to provide proof of insurance.
Last December, agents from Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) detained him and demanded proof of his citizenship from Omar's son, Adnan, an episode that the Democratic congresswoman denounced as "discrimination" and used to attempt to demonize immigration officers.
