The jury in the trial of Lindsay Clancy informed the presiding judge this Friday that they cannot reach a unanimous decision, which led the judge to declare the trial null and order that the process begin again in the future.
Clancy's defense attorney, Kevin Reddington, sought to prevent the process from collapsing by asking Judge William Sullivan for what is known as a "stay" of the ruling while appealing the decision to the Massachusetts Supreme Court, a motion that was ultimately denied by the highest court.
Yesterday it was revealed that in the jury there were 9 delusional feminists and 2 cowardly men who were ready to acquit Clancy and guarantee her impunity, but thanks to a patriotic man who stood firm and did not let himself be intimidated, the confessed murderer will not be able to achieve her impunity.
The trial of Clancy was declared null and void
Reddington had asked the jury to declare Clancy not guilty by reason of insanity, based on the argument that she was suffering from severe postpartum psychosis. The defense also sought to expel the hero who refused to let Clancy go free, a desperate attempt that was rejected by Judge Sullivan.
This morning, Reddington also requested to interrogate that dissenting juror, but Sullivan denied that request after asking each person on the jury if they could comply with the law. Subsequently, Sullivan read the jurors their instructions on reasonable doubt again.
It appears that the jury, composed of nine women and three men, deliberated for more than 38 hours over more than a week, and 11 of them reached the astonishing conclusion that Clancy should be acquitted of her crimes.
