The President of the United States, Donald Trump, announced in the late hours of Friday that, following his orders, U.S. forces and Nigerian troops carried out an extremely complex incursion to end the life of Abu-Bilal al-Minuki, the second-in-command of ISIS worldwide.
"Tonight, under my direction, brave U.S. forces and the Armed Forces of Nigeria flawlessly executed a meticulously planned and highly complex mission to eliminate the most active terrorist in the world from the battlefield. Abu-Bilal al-Minuki, second-in-command of ISIS globally, thought he could hide in Africa, but little did he know that we had sources keeping us informed about what he was doing," Trump stated verbatim on his Truth Social network.
"He will no longer terrorize the people of Africa nor help plan operations directed against Americans. With his elimination, ISIS's global operation is significantly diminished. Thanks to the Government of Nigeria for their collaboration in this operation. GOD BLESS AMERICA!" the president added.

Blow to Islamic Terrorism
The terrorist killed had trained in the ranks of Boko Haram before becoming a high-ranking official of the Islamic State in West Africa, later commanding ISIS globally. He was known for his cruelty against Christians and his prolonged rivalry with other jihadist leaders.
