Donald Trump stated this Monday that the migrant invasion that Spain suffered should serve as a warning for the United States, claiming that the disaster in the European country demonstrates what can happen when governments adopt leftist immigration policies.
"We need to be very careful with all this socialism stuff," Trump said. "I think in many cases it’s much more than socialism; they skipped socialism and went straight to communism," he considered. "When I saw what happened in Spain, I thought: 'Well, we had our own version, and you could say it was quite a bit worse'".
Trump recalled that, under Joe Biden's administration, the Democrats opened the borders and allowed 25 million undocumented immigrants to enter illegally. "We had open borders and practically everyone sent us the people they didn’t want in their countries. We have already removed many and are taking out more, including murderers," he emphasized.
"We are going to end up just like them if they put these lunatics I see running for office. We had the worst border in the history of our country and now we have the best", the president continued, stressing that border crossings dropped to practically zero during his administration.
Trump recalled Biden's disastrous immigration policy
"They make graphs and show that in 15 months not a single person entered illegally through our southern border", the Republican mogul stated. "It’s tremendous. I would say maybe 10, maybe 50 entered, but reports say none. And believe me, if someone had entered, they would be dying to publish it".
