Trump will keep Todd Blanche as Attorney General and will not yield to the pressure from the treacherous Republican senators

President Donald Trump announced on Thursday morning a plan to keep the current acting Attorney General, Todd Blanche, in his position after two traitorous Republican senators, John Cornyn and Thom Tillis, attempted to sabotage his confirmation as the head of the Department of Justice.

The Senate Judiciary Committee postponed a key vote on Wednesday night to advance Blanche's nomination as Attorney General because two Republican senators, Cornyn from Texas and Tillis from North Carolina, who are at odds with Trump, refuse to confirm him for the position.

These two rebellious senators stated that they would move forward with Blanche's nomination only if he submitted a written letter committing to dismiss the fund against the "weaponization" or political use of justice, an initiative by Trump aimed at compensating individuals who were targeted by the Biden regime.

Rather than yielding to pressure, Trump stated in a message on his social media that he is considering temporarily withdrawing Todd Blanche's nomination as the permanent head of the Justice Department until Cornyn and Tillis leave their seats in January of next year.

"However, John Cornyn from Texas and Thom Tillis from North Carolina —whom I refused to support and whose political careers ended due to my actions— refuse to vote for this great nominee, who will remain in the position as acting anyway."

"Remember, both Cornyn and Tillis voted for Merrick Garland and for so many others that it's impossible to list. I have no objection to temporarily withdrawing Todd's name if they do not do the right thing, and re-nominating him once Cornyn and Tillis are out of office."
