Antisemites attacked an Israeli kosher restaurant in Athens
The violent individuals broke into an Israeli kosher restaurant in the Greek capital and vandalized the establishment
A group of at least six individuals broke into an Israeli kosher restaurant in Athens and vandalized the establishment in front of employees and diners, in what authorities are investigating as a possible hate crime.
The attack took place at King David Burger restaurant, which opened its doors just a month ago in a busy area in downtown Athens, about 200 meters (656 feet) from the Acropolis.
A video published by the establishment shows how the strikers entered the premises while throwing pamphlets and spraying several surfaces of the place with black paint. On one of the windows, they posted a sign that read: "All IDF soldiers are war criminals—we don't want them here."

Zvika Levinson, the owner of the restaurant and a resident of Israel, explained that none of the employees present during the attack were Israeli.
After the incident, dozens of Israelis who were in the city approached the place and sang "Am Israel Chai" as a gesture of solidarity and resistance in the face of hatred.
Thousands of Israeli tourists pass through this area of Athens every day, which has turned the restaurant into a meeting point for travelers and members of the Jewish community.
Levinson called on Greek authorities to intervene and punish those responsible: "It would be a shame if Israelis stopped coming to Athens. But if no action is taken, the situation won't be good," he warned.
