The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and the Shin Bet intelligence service announced the elimination of Muhammad Nasr Ali Quneita, a senior member of Hamas's military intelligence, who had kidnapped the young Israeli woman Emily Damari during the October 7 massacre.

Quneita, a member of Hamas's Al-Furqan battalion, was killed on June 19 in a targeted operation in the Gaza City area. According to official information, the terrorist had infiltrated Israel on October 7 and held Damari captive in his home during the first days of the war.

Emily Damari was released on January 19 as part of a hostage agreement between Israel and Hamas, along with Romi Gonen and Doron Steinbrecher. The image of Damari after losing two fingers during her captivity spread around the world.

Additionally, her testimony about her captivity revealed the brutality of the kidnappers and became a symbol of the fight for the return of all Israeli hostages.

After the news of her captor's elimination became known, Emily published a forceful message: "This is what evil looks like. A face I will never forget. That's why I'm glad to know he's no longer in this world."

The Israeli army emphasized that it will continue its operations against all those responsible for the October 7 massacre, in which Hamas murdered and kidnapped hundreds of Israeli civilians in an unprecedented offensive.

In fact, the IDF has been delivering blows to Hamas's leadership in recent days.

The elimination of Quneita represents a new blow against Hamas's command structure and another step in Israel's commitment to bringing justice to the victims of the terrorist attack.
