CCH Naucalpan student stabbed his teacher in the middle of class.
A student from the Colegio de Ciencias y Humanidades Naucalpan attacked his French teacher with a knife
A student from CCH Naucalpan stabbed his French teacher with a knife during class, in front of his classmates.
The attack, which occurred in a classroom on campus, left witnesses stunned as they saw the assailant stab the teacher without warning, causing chaos and terror among those present.
This new episode of violence within the highest house of studies adds to a series of incidents that highlight the climate of insecurity.

The teacher, Esteban Orozco, received serious neck injuries and was treated at the campus infirmary before being transferred to the ISSSTE hospital.
The attack occurred in the "L" building of the campus, where students witnessed the violent episode without anyone being able to stop the aggression in time.

Witnesses reported that the student got up from his seat, pulled out a knife, and attacked the teacher without warning, causing panic among those present.
The assailant tried to flee, but was detained
The student assailant, identified as Jesús "N," 17 years old, attempted to escape after the attack.
However, he was detained by CCH security personnel and handed over to the authorities.
Later, he was transferred to the Barrientos prison in Tlalnepantla, where a control judge will determine his legal situation in the coming hours.
Initial investigations revealed that the assailant had previous conflicts with the teacher, although the exact motives for the attack have not yet been clarified.
The teacher's colleagues described the assailant as a troublesome student with a history of violent behavior.
Despite this, no one at UNAM took preventive measures to avoid a tragedy like this.
UNAM suspended classes, but offers no solutions
The authorities of CCH Naucalpan decided to suspend classes in both shifts, arguing that it was a measure to ensure safety.
However, this doesn't solve the problem of growing violence on campus.
Just a few weeks ago, two students were linked to proceedings for firing a gun and detonating firecrackers on campus.
Despite these precedents, the CCH administration has not implemented effective security measures to protect students and teachers.
Teachers reported that CCH doesn't have clear protocols to address situations of violence.
CCH Naucalpan: a campus where violence is the norm
CCH Naucalpan has become a hotspot of violence within the UNAM educational system.
Parents and students have demanded increased security, but the institution has merely ignored the complaints.
Fights, threats to teachers, and the presence of violent groups on campus have become common, without the administration taking action.
Given the seriousness of the events, the Local Security Commission proposed installing video surveillance systems and metal detectors, but so far there has been no concrete action.
The attack on the French teacher demonstrates the collapse of security at UNAM.
If the CCH administration continues to downplay the violence, these types of assaults will continue to occur.
