Feminists attempted to knock down the door of the Cuernavaca Cathedral.
In another act of vandalism, the Bloque Negro group attempted to forcibly enter the Catholic premises.
What was supposed to be a peaceful demonstration for the International Women's Day turned into a day of violence and destruction in Cuernavaca.
Radical feminist groups attacked the Cuernavaca Cathedral, attempting to knock down its door, which remained closed as a security measure to prevent possible damage.
The protesters also carried out offensive graffiti on the temple walls, ignoring respect for religious freedom and historical heritage.
The cathedral walls, a symbol of the city and a place of worship for thousands of faithful, were covered with graffiti accusing the Church of being part of the "oppressive system."

Businesses and buildings were also targeted
In addition to the attack on the Cathedral, the protesters caused damage to businesses and public buildings along their route. Merchants reported that the aggressors scratched facades and broke windows, affecting small and medium-sized entrepreneurs.
A sector of society, including parishioners and concerned citizens, criticized the permissiveness of the authorities in the face of these acts, demanding that those responsible be punished.

Church and social media users condemn the attack
Meanwhile, state and municipal authorities have remained silent, without taking measures to sanction these acts.
Social media did not lag behind and spoke out against these acts. One user commented that the vandalism carried out by this group shamed the true struggle of women, while another lamented the lack of education of the protesters.
The attack on the Cathedral is a demonstration of how the radical feminist movement has abandoned any attempt at dialogue and has become a group that justifies violence as a method of protest.
