Verastegui sends a message of unity with the people of El Salvador and the new Latin American right
A new discussion emerged about Mexico, El Salvador, and the fight against organized crime.
The Salvadoran president, Nayib Bukele, shared his opinion on the comparisons published on social media between the security measures in Mexico and El Salvador. On his social media, he criticized the Mexican strategy.

Through the platform X, Bukele replied to a post by a user and gave advice to counter insecurity in Mexico.
"Who would be so stupid as to compare Mexico's security measures with those of El Salvador? Mexico is almost 100 times larger in territory than the one governed by Bukele"
expressed the user FreddyOliviery
Meanwhile, the president of El Salvador replied:
"I've seen many posts like this and, honestly, I don't understand the obsession with El Salvador. But, in any case, 28 of the 32 states in Mexico have a population equal to or less than that of El Salvador."
He also advised that security be addressed state by state.
"Solve the security issue in one state first, then in the next, and so on, until covering those 28 states."
The Salvadoran leader concluded.
Verástegui supports Bukele after criticizing Mexico's security strategy
Meanwhile, the producer Eduardo Verástegui supported Bukele's words and stated that "the usual suspects don't want to"
"President @nayibbukele, of course, the insecurity problem can be solved State by State. The thing is, the usual suspects don't want to, they are accomplices," he asserted.

In addition, he stated:
"Citizens are aware, Mexico is already aware, and the usual suspects no longer know where to turn."
Finally, he considered that El Salvador is heavily attacked because the government "is not complicit with criminals."
"Why do they attack your country so much? Because it is an example that a Government that is not complicit with criminals can combat insecurity efficiently and without hesitation. Together we are stronger!"

Both Verástegui and Bukele have close ties with the renewed international right. Users on social media expressed that it is good that the new international right unites into a true political force.
