Eduardo Preve lied to everyone with the alleged audios of Karina Milei.

Eduardo Preve is a political operator disguised as a journalist, an employee of those in power.

A few years ago, the then Attorney General of the Nation, Jorge Díaz, awarded him a fabulous contract by direct appointment in the Prosecutor's Office.

At that time, Díaz was the head of the prosecutors, and he is currently the deputy secretary of the presidency of the Republic, right-hand man of Yamandú Orsi. 

For several months, Preve received public money for an alleged task related to communication, but in reality, he used that time to have contacts with officials from the Prosecutor's Office.

With those contacts, he obtains confidential statements to carry out his sadly famous "leaks," where, at the convenience of his masters, he discloses sensitive information about those who testify in the Prosecutor's Office.

Many times, those leaks are meant to smear innocent people gratuitously. 

Pawn of Frente Amplio

He also received public money  at TV Ciudad. The Frente Amplio administration of Montevideo appointed him by direct appointment with a mega contract in a position related to the news program of Canal TV Ciudad. 

At that time, he was subordinate to the mayor of Montevideo, Carolina Cosse, the current vice president of the Republic.

A serial liar

From his personal X (formerly Twitter) account, he publishes scandalous information, sometimes true, sometimes half-truths, and other times outright lies. 

The purpose is always the same: to favor the political and union left, smear any person or organization that doesn't sympathize with the Uruguayan left. 

Disguised as a journalist, Eduardo Preve launches any nonsense both on Twitter and in his radio column on M24, and he always relies on "journalistic secrecy" to carry out his media operations. 

It is worth remembering that radio M24 belongs to the electoralist terrorist group Tupamaros, which today is the MPP, the majority sector of Frente Amplio in government. 

A total fraud

On Monday, September 2, from his personal Twitter account, he announced that he would release alleged exclusive audios of Karina Milei, sister of the Argentine president. 

Since the justice system of the neighboring country prevented the dissemination of the alleged audios attributed to the president's sister, Preve wanted to launch a media bomb from Uruguay to circumvent the judicial order. 

On Monday, September 2, from his radio show on M24, thousands of Argentines were waiting for the release of the audios attributed to Karina Milei. 

A gigantic fiasco

Preve wrote on Twitter: "In Argentina, they ordered the cessation of the dissemination of the audios involving Milei's government in an alleged bribery network with medications. Tomorrow, we're going to play the latest audios for you on La TAPADITA."

That is the name of his column in the program "Nada que perder," on radio M24. 

But it was all a real fiasco, a gigantic lie, and a huge mockery of the listeners. 

What Eduardo Preve broadcast on the radio were audios attributed to the sister of the president of Argentina that were already known in that country.

Therefore, there was nothing new. It was simply repeating what everyone had already heard. 

Preve lied to everyone, caused expectation, promised a media bomb, and in the end, the only thing he broadcast on the radio were already known audios. 

The vulgar media operator was exposed, he cheated, caused expectation, and then scammed everyone. 

The media in the neighboring country portrayed him as what he is: a liar without scruples who, just to get a bit of ratings, resorts to any lie. 

The Argentine outlet Perfil pointed out on Tuesday, September 2: "The Uruguayan journalist Eduardo Preve had announced the release of audios related to the alleged bribes in ANDIS. In Argentina, new material was expected, but in the end, he only aired recordings that had already been released."

Meanwhile, the Argentine outlet La Política Online headlined: "In the end, the Uruguayan journalist did not play new audios of Karina: he said it was a misunderstanding."

In Argentina, they also realized that Eduardo Preve is a liar without scruples, a vulgar media operator who has absolutely nothing of a journalist.
