Eternal union bureaucracy runs the unions

A group of leftist union leaders seek their own interests, to the detriment of the workers they supposedly represent. 

They are accused of betraying the interests of the working class, taking advantage of their position to obtain personal benefits and privileges.

PIT-CNT, den of drones

The union center dominated by the far left is made up of ringleaders who enjoy union leave, meaning they receive their salary without working.

All the union chiefs at PIT-CNT are enjoying union leave. They never go to their workplace, whether public or private, but they receive their full salary with all its benefits, while the real workers fulfill their duties on time and properly. 

Marcelo Abdala, eternal bureaucrat

The communist Marcelo Abdala, 58 years old, has been leading Untmra (metalworkers' union) for more than 25 years; moreover, he is one of the main ringleaders of the Communist Party. 

He spends his time permanently enjoying union leave, and he is never seen working at any metalworking company; however, he claims to represent not only metalworkers but all Uruguayan workers. 

Abdala is the same person who has repeatedly praised the Cuban communist dictatorship, and who traveled to Venezuela to embrace the genocidal Nicolás Maduro.

A few years ago, he crashed drunk in Punta Carretas and fled from the police to avoid being caught. 

Joselo López, another dinosaur

José Lorenzo López is an employee at Inau and the main ringleader of the union at that state agency.

López himself acknowledged in an interview a few months ago that he entered public service by favoritism just because his mother was also an employee of the agency. He did not take any entrance exam.

He is an eternal union bureaucrat at Cofe, a mega union that brings together public employees, and of course also at PIT-CNT.

He has been enjoying union leave for more than 25 years.

He never goes to work and enjoys all the privileges of a unionist, such as a car with a private driver paid for with union funds, and frequent trips abroad to supposed "union congresses."

Parasitic union caste

Abdala, López, and many more unionists are an example of everything that should not be done in union activity.

They get paid without working, accumulate privileges and personal benefits, and live off the real workers.

Meanwhile, thousands of wage earners can't make ends meet, the parasitic union caste accumulates privileges and gets paid without working.

They have cars with drivers, travel abroad with all expenses paid, and never work. Meanwhile, the real workers suffer hardships.
