Andrea Tuana is an ultra radical feminist and director of the NGO El Paso, who keeps a permanent discourse of hatred and contempt against all men.
She is a civil servant at the Police Hospital, which belongs to the Ministry of the Interior.
It is unknown what her working hours are because she is seen in the media during office hours.
She was sanctioned in November 2024 by the Ministry of the Interior (then headed by Nicolás Martinelli) with six months without pay.
This was due to false statements made in February 2024 during an interview on the program Arriba Gente on Canal 10.
In that appearance, Tuana addressed the consequences of the advance of drug trafficking in the country, mentioning cases in which children and adolescents are exposed to high physical and emotional risk.
She pointed out that there are parents and relatives who leave children in "drug dens" "as guarantees for drug consumption debts."
This was completely false. She blatantly lied on live television, and she never presented a single piece of evidence for her claims.

Sanction for lying
The Ministry of the Interior considered that Tuana's statements damaged the institutional image and lacked proper verification, interpreting them as a malicious criticism of Lacalle's government.
At that time, an advisor to the ministry, Diego Sanjurjo, questioned the accuracy of the examples given by the extremist.
Serial liar
This gigantic lie that Tuana uttered on live television is not the only one.
She habitually spreads false data about so-called "gender violence" to alarm the population and demand that the current government provide more subsidies for feminist organizations.
Tuana
As already reported by La Derecha Diario, El Paso is the ultra-radical feminist organization she leads and that has received millions of pesos (millions of pesos) in recent years from all governments.
Tuana is one of the visible faces of radical feminism that is subsidized with public money. The public money received by feminist organizations in Uruguay is enormous.
She is part of a group of extremists who constantly demand that the State provide more taxpayer money to finance their shady deals.
El Paso is part of the so-called Intersocial Feminista, an informal group of social misfits that brings together the most violent and radical feminism, and whose organizations are financed with public money through subsidies and fabulous contracts with various state agencies.

Meanwhile, Uruguayans are tired of paying extremely high taxes and having the highest VAT in the world. Tuana and the radical feminists who support her continue demanding that the government provide more money from taxpayers to fatten their pockets and increase their deals.
Now they are taking advantage of the discussion of the Budget law to ask for more taxpayer money. They are pressuring legislators to approve more subsidies for them.
The same old dirty business. Deceiving the population by inventing that violence against women is increasing, and in this way continue collecting everyone's money.
