PIT-CNT will stage a mafia-style strike, harming the most vulnerable.

The PIT-CNT Broad Front union has called a strike for Tuesday, August 12, under the slogan "The people first. More jobs and wages: a better Uruguay."

The strike includes partial strikes (from 9:00 to 13:00) and full 24-hour strikes in several sectors, with a central demonstration at 10:00 at the University of the Republic (Udelar) in Montevideo, followed by a march to Plaza Libertad.

A political strike

Once again, the union bureaucracy paralyzes the country for partisan political purposes.

The union bureaucracy, which doesn't work but still collects a salary because they enjoy union leave, is pressuring Orsi's government to radicalize and move closer to Chavista positions.

It should not be forgotten that PIT-CNT, led by the communist union bureaucrat Marcelo Abdala, is addicted to the Venezuelan communist narco-dictatorship led by Nicolás Maduro.

Abdala himself traveled to Caracas to applaud the Caribbean genocidal leader and to be photographed with him a few years ago.

This wild strike aims to create a climate of social unrest and to exert mafia-like pressure on the government to take radical measures.

Communists stoke the mafia-like strike

In addition to the aforementioned Abdala, PIT-CNT includes Gabriel Molina, the Sutel union bureaucrat (the ANTEL union), who also belongs to the Communist Party and uses unionism to pressure the government.

Gabriel Molina has been collecting his salary from the state agency for more than 20 years but never goes to work because he enjoys union leave.

Teachers' strike

Meanwhile, this Monday the 11th, teachers at public schools held a strike because last Friday a mother hit a teacher.

Because of a violent woman who hit a teacher, tens of thousands of children are left without classes this Monday the 11th.

As always, the innocent pay for the guilty, and because of the teachers' union, those children, in addition to losing a day of class, will in some cases be left without the meal they receive at school.

Anti-worker strike

This strike on Tuesday the 12th harms mainly wage earners with less purchasing power. What the union bureaucracy does with this wild strike is harm the poorest, the most humble.

None of the leaders of the union center care about the fate of the workers.

They live without working, both those in the private sector and those in the public sector.

The unionists collect their salary but do not work, since they are protected by the union freedom law 17.940, and this allows them not to go to their workplace but to collect their salary with all its benefits.

Meanwhile, 99% of wage earners suffer the consequences of the strike, lose a day's pay, the country's economy is ruined, and hundreds of millions of dollars are lost. The union bureaucracy led by far-left radicals damages the economy and harms the weakest.
