They proceeded with their fascist threat: The transportation union will carry out a total strike
Unott, the transportation union, is becoming more radical and will carry out a total 24-hour strike on Thursday, the 31st
The Copsa Workers' Association (ATC), extremist union of the collective passenger transport company, stated that this Wednesday, the 30th, the bus strike that has been ongoing since Monday the 28th, will continue.
The union members announced a nationwide general strike in transportation for 24 hours this Thursday, July 31.
The labor dispute is due to an alleged wage debt that Copsa owes to the workers.
In this regard, the National Union of Transport Workers (Unott) announced "a total strike in solidarity" with Copsa employees.
Unott is led by ultra-radical unionists, aligned with the Communist Party, the Socialist Party, the MPP, and Trotskyist and Maoist factions.

Also for taxis
The Single Union of Taximeter Automobiles and Telephone Operators (Suatt) said they will join the action called for Thursday.
"We believe there will be very strong compliance with the strike. We're going to stop the taxis throughout Montevideo," said Damián Fernández, a member of the taxi union's leadership.
As with the buses, taxis will begin to reduce their service around 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, the 30th.
Fascist strike
"It's something that's established, that Copsa doesn't pay. We don't want that situation to keep repeating. If this isn't solved, we're going to continue with strikes for as long as necessary," said Daniel Marrero, union bureaucrat of the Transport Workers' Union (Unott), to Tv Ciudad this Tuesday, the 29th.

The transport unionists are harming people and companies that have nothing to do with the labor dispute.
They're causing enormous harm to humble workers who want to go to their workplace and to companies that are completely unrelated to the conflict.
It's a wild and anti-worker strike that directly harms the Uruguayans who get up early and want to move forward.

It's the union savagery that carries out excessive strikes, harming citizens who have nothing to do with their demands for no reason.
This type of action always harms the weakest. Irresponsible unionism constantly damages the most humble workers, as well as small and medium-sized businesses.
It's the same violent union fascism as always. Union gangs that ruin the economy and harm the most vulnerable to obtain privileges.
