Tragedy in Quilmes: state neglect strikes again in the province of Buenos Aires, governed by Kicillof
In the province of ultra-Kirchnerist Axel Kicillof, violence continues claiming victims while the local government looks the other way.
A shocking episode of violence shook San Francisco Solano, in the district of Quilmes. A child of only 12 years old killed his stepfather with four stab wounds in the back when he was trying to defend his mother, who was being brutally attacked by the man in a state of intoxication.
The incident occurred in a house on 868 Street at 2800. SAME doctors found the body of Rubén Cardozo, 37 years old, lying on the ground in the front yard, with his jersey bloodied at shoulder level. According to police sources, the woman, identified with the initials M.A., 40 years old, said that her partner had arrived home drunk and, without a word, had woken her violently and started beating her.
The woman's five children were in the house, including two she had with Cardozo. It was in the midst of this brutal attack that her 12-year-old son, in an act of desperation, grabbed a knife from the kitchen and stabbed his stepfather in the back. The aggressor collapsed on the spot, unresponsive.

Forensic experts from the Scientific Police found a knife with a wooden handle and bloodstains in the kitchen sink. Initial examinations confirmed that the victim received at least four stab wounds, and an autopsy is awaited to determine the exact number of injuries.
The case is in the hands of the Juvenile Prosecutor's Office No. 1 of the Judicial Department of Quilmes, under the classification of homicide in legitimate defense in the context of gender violence. Despite the seriousness of the situation, there are no previous complaints or judicial records of violence at the home, although neighbors confirmed that arguments were frequent.

This episode once again highlights the neglect of the Buenos Aires province under the management of Axel Kicillof. While violence and lack of protection advance in the most vulnerable neighborhoods, the governor insists on squandering resources on ideological causes.
Instead of strengthening the social support system and security in the province, Kicillof wastes public funds on initiatives like creating a streaming channel called ViBra or implementing indoctrination programs with progressive gender perspectives.
As if that weren't enough, the governor demanded that President Javier Milei allocate IMF funds to the reconstruction of Bahía Blanca after the tragic tornado, while the provincial government itself has long neglected its duty of efficient resource management. How many more tragedies will have to occur before the priorities of the provincial administration stop serving a political project?
