2026 Copa Argentina already knows the details of its first matches. The competition that brings together teams from all divisions of Argentine soccer will begin on Sunday, January 18 with the round of 64.
The opening day will have two matches. In the first time slot, Independiente Rivadavia, the current champion of the tournament, will play against Estudiantes de Caseros from 7:00 p.m. at La Pedrera Stadium in San Luis. Later, starting at 9:15 p.m., Lanús will face Sarmiento de La Banda at Ciudad de Caseros Stadium.

The competition will continue on Monday, January 19, also with time and venue defined. Estudiantes de La Plata will make its debut against Ituzaingó from 9:15 p.m. at Banfield Stadium. However, for the moment the last match with a finalized schedule will be the one featuring Argentinos Juniors and Midland, scheduled for Wednesday, January 21 at 9:15 p.m. at La Fortaleza, Lanús' stadium.
From that date on, the tournament calendar will extend until April 8, with numerous ties still pending confirmation regarding times and venues. Among them, the debuts of the five giants that are still awaiting organizational decisions stand out.
